what does the book initiative do?

provides access to books to underserved children from stocking Little Free Libraries in book deserts to providing book donations directly to children in need to providing financial support to programs that get books in the hands of children most in need

amplify

amplifies both the need for access to books for underserved children as well as the need for diverse voices in the book world through communications as well as participation in, and support of, organizations focused on responding to book challenges to diverse books

diversify

focuses on diversifying bookshelves by soliciting donations of or acquiring books featuring diverse characters or books by diverse authors for children in need as well as provides donations of diverse books to free or public libraries accessible by underserved children
